EDM - August 2025
Couple of days ago we had our EDM town hall, its our Engineering Department meeting (AKA EDM) , we do it almost quarterly , but we didn't meeting for two quarters in a row, I prefer to meet when there is a real need to.
It was really nice meeting & catching up with the guys, EDM is very crucial , as its one of the most powerful ways to answer many of the employees latent questions , like :
- Where are we going ?
- Why we are going there ?
- What is the benefit of going there for us and for the company ?
I believe these questions are crucial, I would say that leaders back then when tribes used to move from their places to another places searching for food , water and a perfect weather to settle, their leaders were answering these questions.
I would also quote from the bible Moses when he was leading 2 million people in the desert , he answered these three questions , We are going to a better land , Because we will be free living a prosperous life , this land will benefit from us as we will work it out , and we will benefit from the prosperity and resources this land gives.
We chatted about our new vision , new road mapping processes , new exciting ai initiatives i will write about them soon , we thanked all who did great job , and all teams who did very good initiatives / projects .. and we had some fun.
Overall, its always fun to meet with the guys , be aligned , have some positive vibers , celebrate wins and learn from our mistakes , and share motivation between them and us as management so we all continue pursuing what we have on our plates strongly.
